Arquitectonica is based in Miami and New York
with offices in Los Angeles, Paris, Madrid, Hong
Kong, Shanghai, Manila, Lima and São Paulo.
Since its founding in 1977, Arquitectonica has
developed an international practice recognized
for excellence and innovation. We are dedicated
to providing our clients with cost saving designs
that result in profitable projects for developers
and efficiently operated building for users.
Arquitectonica has a long standing record of on-
time, on-budget performance on a variety of
project types, including mixed-use projects with
complex program requirements. We are
committed to the design of buildings that meet
functional requirements and which incorporate
state-of-the-art technology and positive
imagery.
With a multilingual professional staff of over
300, Arquitectonica is a full-service
architecture and interior design firm, with all
aspects of a project, from initial planning to
final drawings, accomplished totally in-house.
Our offices around the world are networked to
allow for instantaneous communication.
The firm’s designs have won numerous
American Institute of Architects and
Progressive Architecture Design Awards. The
firm has been honored as the AIA Firm of the
Year. In testimony to the longevity of the firm’s
work, The Atlantis Condominium and the Pink
House have each been honored with the AIA
Test of Time Award. The firm’s work is widely
published in national and international
publications such as Time, Newsweek, Life,
Fortune and Business Week, as well as
numerous professional journals such as
Architectural Record, Progressive Architecture,
Architectural Design (England), Domus (Italy),
Global Architecture (Japan), L’Architecture
D’aujourd’hui (France) and Häuser (Germany).
Arquitectonica’s designs have been exhibited in
major museums and institutions in the United
States, Europe, Latin America and Asia including
shows in Paris, Buenos Aires, Rome, Frankfurt,
Rotterdam, Bordeaux, Brussels, Zurich, Tokyo,
New York, San Francisco, San Diego,
Minneapolis, Chicago, Houston, Boston and
Philadelphia. The Smithsonian Institution
Cooper-Hewitt Design Museum mounted an
exhibit on the firm focusing on the Westin New
York at Times Square project.
The firm’s work includes projects on several
continents, from projects such as mixed-use
developments, resorts and casinos, hotels,
schools, luxury condominium towers, retail
centers and office buildings to specialized
projects such as a U.S. Embassy, opera
house/symphony halls, television studios, and
several bank headquarters. Projects by the firm
are located in the United States, Portugal,
Spain, France, Luxembourg, Holland, Czech
Republic, India, Indonesia, Singapore, Philippines,
Hong Kong, China, South Korea and Japan as well
as Mexico, Venezuela, Peru, Brazil, Argentina,
Bermuda and the Caribbean.
