Founded as a two-man office in 1946, RTKL has
evolved into one of the world’s largest multi-
disciplinary design firms, with an international
portfolio of mixed-use, office, retail,
entertainment, hotel and resort, health
sciences, government, and planning and urban
design projects. Today, more than 700
architects, engineers, planners and urban
designers, interior and landscape architects,
and graphic designers work in the Baltimore
headquarters and in Dallas, Washington DC, Los
Angeles, Chicago, Miami, London, Madrid, Tokyo,
and Shanghai offices.
RTKL’s Miami office focuses on providing full
interior design services for residential and
hospitality projects throughout the world. The
firm has designed public spaces, including spa
and fitness facilities, in both high-rise
condominiums and high-end residences, as well
as unit-models. The design team often works
on both residential and hospitality projects in
tandem, thereby co-mingling the “resident” and
“guest” experiences. RTKL’s hospitality
experience adds depth to the team’s
